Some South African families are relieved after their family members caught up in the Egypt bomb on Sunday, are making their trip back home.
Three other South Africans are to remain in hospital and are reported to make their trip back later this week.
The devastating blast took place near Egypt’s Giza pyramids, as the bus that had 25 South African tourists was passing the place.
South Africa’s Ambassador Vusi Mavimbela in Egypt is engaging with the authorities, including visiting hospitals to get clear information on what really happened.
“We are still trying to piece the details because we are talking to the authorities here who have not yet received the full report of what exactly happened,” Mavimbela said.
The person or group behind the attack is still unknown.
