After retiring from professional football, Kerr coached in the United States (specifically in Phoenix, Arizona). He then returned to Scotland, and worked as Argyll and Bute Council’s Football Development Officer between 2005 and 2009. Kerr also worked extensively for the FA’s of England, Scotland and N. Ireland and qualified for various UEFA badges.

Kerr helped Leopards push through the relegation quicksand in the wake of going along with them in December, when he took over from Joel Masutha.

Lidoda Duvha director David Thidiela disclosed to the media that Kerr sent his resignation letter to the team executives.

“Truly, he has sent his resignation letter, yet as a club, we are closed for the season now yet we will plunk down and discharge an official proclamation on the way forward.”

Kerr was adored by the general population of Thohoyandou and turned into a major piece of the network. He generally demonstrated his gratefulness to the supporters of the club, however at this point they’ll have another person driving the group next season.
