Everton have signed keeper Jonas Lossl on a three year deal following Huddersfield town’s relegation from Premier League.
Lossl will make his move to Goodison park on 1 July when his contract comes to an end, he signed a three year contract that will end on the summer of 2023/24 season.
According to Examiner Live, the 30 year old danish keeper played a vital role in Huddersfield survival in 2017/18 season and couldn’t save the team for 2018/2019 season.
The Merseysiders struck a pre-contract agreement with the Danish international who has been first-choice at the John Smith’s Stadium.
He arrived from German Club Mainz after their former manager David Wagner bought him. Lossl tweeted his own message thanking the terriers and announcing that he would be leaving. He said, “This journey with Town has been the highlight of my career so far.
“I have played the best football of my life, created some incredible memories, achieved some extraordinary goals and met people who I now see as very good friends.
“I’m so thankful to all the kindness and friendliness people in and around football have shown my family and I during our time here.
“The hospitality and friendly smiles you always encounter from the people in Huddersfield are unique – we’ll miss you all!” revealed Examiner Live.
