Only seven days back, TS Galaxy was praising a groundbreaking win over Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup last, a few days alter the team is grieving after one of their players was killed.
Thembinkosi Mbamba was a South African professional football player who played for the National First Division club TS Galaxy who had a promising career ahead of him but unfortunately met his untimely death in what was reported to be a car accident.
Mbamba started for TS Galaxy in the Nedbank cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium last Saturday.
Devastatingly, the youthful midfielder now joins the developing rundown of South African footballers who have lost their lives on the roads.
Condolences to the family have been pouring since the accident was reported.
