“It is a good tournament for us, especially young players, to showcase their talent in South Africa. I’ve been in this country and would love to play more in the PSL. It’s not up to me as it depends on those who are watching me. I just have to do the business on the field,” Phiri was quoted as per interview in Kickoff.com

“My agent is not around but he said he had a few conversations and I will have to wait for him, hopefully we will get a good offer because right now I’m a free agent. I will just wait on the offers on the table,

“I’ve been here for four years but I’ve been getting less game-time, done well on loans but when I go back to Wits I get frozen out. The last couple of seasons on loan I’ve attracted offers from bigger teams, I just need a good season with a team that will believe in me.”  Added Phiri

Phiri did not disclose which clubs showed interest in him but he is for sure a free agent which enables him to make a move to any club of his choice that may seek his services. The Malawian international parted ways Bidvest Wits after he was not given enough game time rather loans in which he performed very well in all his loans.
