Another drama in “radioville”. If you thought DJ Fresh’s suspension which led to his firing was dramatic, Phat Joe has also joined the party after his allegedly offensive comment about the LGBTIQ+ community on Radio 2000 show ‘Phat Joe and the Family’.

According to TshisaLIVE SABC has confirmed that the radio host has been “unscheduled until further notice” due to his comment regarding the topic.

This topic was picked up from Zodwa Wabantu’s reality show when the Vosho queen spoke about how dramatic gay people are., which led to a big debate on social media.

The war between Gordhan and Mkhwebane takes a new turn

The legal war between Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan and Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has taken a new turn.

Minister Gordhan not only wants the Public Protector’s report on the SARS rogue unit to be set aside by the high court, but he wants Mkhwebane to be personally liable for the costs.

This comes a few days after Mkhwebane released a report finding that Gordhan had illegally set up SARS rogue unit in her report.

Police fire stun grenades to disperse Zandile Gumede supporters

There is a heavy police presence outside the City Hall in Durban as eThekwini mayor Zandile Gumede is expected to show up.

Members of the SAPS have used stun grenades to disperse supporters of the mayor.

Gumede’s supporters are adamant that Gumede will report for duty. However, the ANC has made it clear that the mayor can not return to work until her fraud and corruption accusations are settled.

AFCON 2019 Match Report: Nigeria 2-1 South Africa: Super Eagles leave it late to secure semi-final berth Full list of Forbes’ highest-paid entertainers 2019

Nigeria scored late to edge old foes South Africa 2-1 in their Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash at the Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday night.

Despite an early onslaught from Bafana Bafana, it was the Super Eagles who took the lead in the 28th minute via Samuel Chukwueze after a close-range finish following a deflected shot that came off Buhle Mkhwanazi.

Nigeria almost punished South Africa again, when in the 36th minute Gernot Rohr’s charges went on the counter-attack through Ahmed Musa, who laid the ball well in Chukwueze’s path, but his effort sailed wide, denying him his brace.
