Kock, 26, spent two seasons with Masandawan but saw minimal game time after leaving Cape Town.

His agent, Rui Alves confirmed that Kock has signed a two-year contract with Cape Umoya in the National First Division.

“Gershin had a good two years at Sundowns and he learned a lot. There was an opportunity to stay on there, but at this stage of his career he needs to be playing. There were other offers, but he decided to join Cape Umoya,” Alves told Soccer Laduma.
