The next-generation Audi A1 is yet to be launched in South Africa in September and we have gotten hold of the pricing, thanks to Cars.co.za.
Pricing starts from R359 900 for the base 30 TFSI variant. This variant makes use of a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 85 kW and 200 Nm. Audi claims it can do a 0-100 km/h in 9.4 seconds.
According to Cars.co.za, this engine will be available in three levels of trim: 30 TFSI, Advanced Line and S Line.
The 35 TFSI employs a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that churns out 110 kW and 250 Nm and that enables the A1 to sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. It will also be available in three levels of trim: 35 TFSI, Advanced Line and S Line.
The range-topping 40 TFSI variant boasts a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 147 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. Audi says it will do a 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
